History

The Institute of International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship (ICHEF), owned and managed by the Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation, Inc. leads in the Professional Global and International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship providing excellent credentials through a creative culinary arena since 2009. The institution ensures a successful career with its internationally renowned and multi-awarded resident chefs who work hand in hand with the students to prepare mouthwatering cuisine.

Together with its international partners, Workskills International (Australia) and American Hospitality Academy (USA), and the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management, future chefs will graduate with various certifications proving the advantage and quality of an ICHEF education. ICHEF is also the first in Mindanao to be accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to offer a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management course and the only school in Mindanao and the Philippines with a Halal Culinary Kitchen. ICHEF is housed in a six-story building situated at De Jesus Street, Davao City with a total of 3,000 square meter floor area which is fitted with the most modern and state-of-the-art culinary equipment for globally competent training delivery.
